1. Only annual flowers (coleus, begonias, geraniums, etc.) may be planted. No
perennials such as ivy, myrtle, bushes, trees, shrubs, rosebushes, azaleas’
etc.are permitted.
2. All plants and decorations are removed from graves commencing November
15th each year. Only cut flowers and Christmas decorations are permitted after
such date.
3. Christmas decorations are removed prior to Ash Wednesday each year.
4. Crosses, vases, permanent flower holders, fences, wire enclosures, urns,
metal chairs, plastic images, toys, pedestals and other similar articles are not
permitted on graves or memorials. The cemetery will not be responsible for the
disappearance of, or damage to, any such articles placed on graves in
disregard of this regulation.
5. All decorations and articles which are placed in violation of these regulations, or
when, in the judgment of the cemetery superintendent, their appearance and
condition warrant, will be removed and disposed of.
6. Because the cemetery is open to the public and is visited by thousands of
people each year, the cemetery authorities cannot guarantee plants and
decorations from damage or disappearance.
